Amber is not a mineral, but the hardened resin of certain trees fossilised over long periods of time. Because it forms a translucent orange-yellow substance that glows when polished and held up to light, it has long been used in jewellery and other decorations. (did not copy and paste) The reason why I did some more amber facts is because at my school we did some learning about amber so I thought it was really fascinating so I decided to do some more.
