My face portrait
This is my face portrait that I drew with pencils. I had some complications with my nose rocket but I think it is great. p.s my mouth is a moon, not cheese. I did this drawing because of an Art exhibition happening later this term, my class had chosen the choice of drawing/sketching, and everyone in my school had to do something. Whole school - Y1 - 8

Belfeast
Hello people who are reading this blog post, today we had Belfeast which is held at the BCN (Belfast communicate network) or if your reading blog post a little lat then this is the time we had belfeast. 23-6-2020. Since Covid 19 accrued, only had about 4 weeks left so instead of 1 class going to Belfeast (only classes 20, 21, 22 and 23 go to Belfeast) we had 2 classes go at a time, 20 and 21, and 22 with 23. We had hot dogs on the first Belfeast for 2020 and they were delicious. This time, we had burgers and chips, Room 20 and 21 only had burgers when they went a second time, and that was even more delicious!š We did not grab the food are self's, we had servants. they were kids from the other classes. 20 cooked for 21, 21 cooked for 22, 22 cooked for 23, and 23 cooked for 20. I don't know how much money was used for all the food but it was a lot. I hope my description on Belfeast was good now I'll stop.

The skeleton woman
One treacherous afternoon, a daughter and Father were standing on a cliff edge, the father was holding the girl by her neck, her eyes bulging with fear while the Father screams and yells at her. Maybe she was pushed, maybe she slipped, maybe she just fell, who knows, but whatever happened, the girl had a terrible fate as she rolled and twisted while snapping her body against the rocks below like a lifeless puppet until she finally hit the water and landed on the seaweed floor and then the fish feasted on her flesh.
And on that day on, no one went to that lake to fish or sight see because everyone thought that the bay was haunted or cursed so not even the bravest of fishermen went there, until a young fisherman that did not know the legend went to the bay to hopefully find a huge fish to sell at the market, build a house and find a wife.
So, without even a second thought, he hooked on his bait and tossed his line into the water and waited, and waited , and waited and waited, until when the fisherman was about to leave something tugged the string and the bobber went underwater and with a flash the fisherman started to play tug of war with the supposed fish very boldly. Finally, the fisherman won the tug of war and reeled in the fish. But instead of a huge gigantic tender delicious fish, he reeled in a skeleton, and that skeleton gave the man a huge shock so he paddled as fast as he could until he reached shore. Then he ran into his tent and quickly zipped up the door behind him. He waited for a couple of hours before he was brave enough to light up a candle and look around, hoping that the skeleton would not be there and had left, so, he lifted his candle and he screamed like a girl as the skeleton jump scared the fisherman. After a couple of minutes of breathing fast and begging the gods to protect him he finally saw that his

Steps
Steps is a learning site for reading, it has a test to see what level you are. The highest level is level 6 and you start at the first level but there is a bunch of tasks you have to complete to get to the next level there is also medals you get depending on how well you did. If you didn't make a single mistake you get gold, if you get 2 or 3 or 4 wrong you get silver and if you get 5 or more worng I think will get a bronze because I haven't gotten a bronze medal yet.
You can get assigned tasks that your teacher gives you and there is a date before you have to complete it, I don't know what happens if you don't complete the assignment before the date but it's best not to find out. There is also some games you can play live Blocks witch is just tetris steps guy and about 4 more so enjoy those games and also steps.

Math whizz
I've been doing math whizz and it is like sumdog because you can buy furniter and have a house but the best thing about math whizz I think is bast is because of the adventure you can have.
There are gems you can collect to level up and so far I am a whizz apprentes. I can't go any further because we are doing the free trial so all we can do is customize are room and character but the levels seem like they don't stop and if you keep doing math.
There is a special jump skill that you can use if you do really well and that lets you skip the level. I haven't been using it very much but it dosen't always let you skip the questions.

Lung cancer
Can you survive lung cancer?
The 5-year survival rate for NSCLC is 24%, compared to 6% for small cell lung cancer. ... And, some patients with advanced lung cancer can live many years after diagnosis. Sometimes patients who are told that their lung cancer is incurable live longer than many who are told that their lung cancer is curable.
Hello, it's me Oliver and I have been doing facts for my blog because I haven't gotten anything good or exciting to show or tell so i've been doing facts just to amuse the people who read my blog posts.

Eyes
Is it true that our eye's never grow?
Answer: The eyeball is the only organism which does not grow from birth. It is fully grown when you are born. When you look at a baby's face, so see mostly iris and little white. As the baby grows, you get to see more and more of the eyeball.
The muscles in the eye are 100 times stronger than they need to be to perform their function. Eyes are the second most complex organ after the brain. Only one sixth of the human eyeball is exposed.
Red-green and yellow-blue are the so-called "forbidden colors." Composed of pairs of hues whose light frequencies automatically cancel each other out in the human eye, they're supposed to be impossible to eye simultaneously.

COVID-19 facts
It is not certain how long the virus that causes COVID-19 survives on surfaces, but it seems to behave like other coronaviruses. Studies suggest that coronaviruses (including preliminary information on the COVID-19 virus) may persist on surfaces for a few hours or up to several days.
Symptoms of COVID-19: Common symptoms fever.

Games in a box.
The photo down below is the box my dad has, and it is filled to the brim with video games for the gamecube, Game boy, Nintendo 64, Wii, DS and 3DS. There are so many games to choose from only if you have the right console and if it still works. My dad had those games for about 12 years and that fact was shocking. I play them sometimes put they are not that intresting for me. So is you want me to do some facts about some video games that just tell me.

Chess origin/facts
The folding chess board was originally invented in 1125 by a chess-playing priest. Since the Church forbids priests to play chess, he hid his chess board by making one that looked simply like two books lying together. The reason why I did some facts about chess origins is because I really like the board game chess.

More amber facts
Amber is not a mineral, but the hardened resin of certain trees fossilised over long periods of time. Because it forms a translucent orange-yellow substance that glows when polished and held up to light, it has long been used in jewellery and other decorations. (did not copy and paste) The reason why I did some more amber facts is because at my school we did some learning about amber so I thought it was really fascinating so I decided to do some more.

Carnivorous plants
I have watched on youtube facts about carnivorous plants and how they get food like the well known fly trap they give off a sweet smell of necture and a insect like a beetle lands on the fly trap and when the beetle moves on the fly trap the hairs on the fly trap triggers the fly trap and the fly traps mouth shuts tight and the fly trap digested the beetles flesh and all is left of the beetle is the exoskeleton.
